None of us exist in a vacuum. Each of us have influenced – or have been influenced – along our path. It is important to give back whenever possible.
The American Legion
I have been an active member of the American Legion since 2013 and have served two posts both as a member and on the Executive Board. I have recently concluded three terms as the elected Commander of the American Legion Anaheim Post 72 and am now on the Orange County District 29 Executive Board.
University of La Verne Debate Team
From 2014 to 2018, I was an energetic member of the University of La Verne Debate Team. Following the completion of my undergraduate degree, I have remained dedicated to the team both through monthly monetary donations and in-person assistance whenever necessary. I owe much of my academic growth and open-mindedness to the ULV Debate Team, and by backing them, I’m actively promoting the unimpeded exchange of ideas that is fundamental for a stable democracy.
Bluejacket Foundation, Inc.
In 2017, shortly after my graduation from the University of La Verne, I established the Bluejacket Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the core mission of aiding Student Veterans. Two years later, the Bluejacket Foundation, Inc. fused with “The Deserted” Military Motorcycle Club to more effectively serve our Veteran Community and broaden its scope to include homeless Veterans, orphaned children, and battered women. Finally, in 2021, I resigned from my positions in both the Foundation and MC to devote my attention towards my responsibilities at the American Legion.
